The tool offers two modes. All Pages rotates the entire document by 90°, 180°, or 270° in a single click — the fastest option for a uniformly misoriented scan. Individual mode displays thumbnail previews of each page and lets you apply different rotations per page, which is essential for double-sided scans where the back pages are consistently inverted relative to the front. Rotations are cumulative, so clicking 90° twice produces a 180° result.

What rotation increments are available?
The tool supports 90°, 180°, and 270° clockwise. These cover every standard use case: landscape-to-portrait, upside-down correction, and any quarter-turn fix.
Does rotating affect text sharpness or image quality?
No. Rotation is a metadata change, not a re-rendering operation. The page content — text, images, and vector graphics — is not reprocessed or re-encoded at any point.
Will the file size change after rotating?
The change is negligible — only the rotation value in each page's dictionary is updated. The image and text data inside the pages is untouched.
Does the tool handle password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted files cannot be read or modified. Remove the password using an unlock tool before uploading.
